This week concluded with the highly-publicized IPO for Facebook. The closing price was $38.12. Are you ready to purchase some Facebook stock? Continuing with the theme of Facebook, GM dropped $10 Million worth of Facebook ads. Ford countered by saying the Facebook Ads work. You can decide, but we at Fifty & Five are big fans of Facebook Ads. In Entertainment news, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato were announced as new judges for the show “X-Factor”. They used social media (picture above) to make the announcement as they used Path and Twitter. A sign of the times. Finally, in the “dumb criminal” department, two robbers were caught in Columbia as on of the crooks forgot to log out of Facebook.
