U.S. representation in Facebook reach/impressions skyrocketed to #1 & #2 positions


Hong Kong Tourism Board was hosting a 3-day celebration of cultural and musical performances, cuisine of renown Michelin-starred chefs and giveaways at the Los Angeles retail and entertainment hub The Grove and needed to ensure the event would be highly attended and well covered by the media.


The Fifty & Five team created a comprehensive strategic social media plan that included Facebook ad buys, outreach to influencers in the media and blogging community and live content creation and engagement the day-of events.


More than 40 bloggers provided live coverage at the event and followed up with blog write-ups, videos, photos and more.

@HongKongTourism gained more than 7,500 followers and had an exposure of 9.5mm between May & June alone.

Hong Kong Tourism Board’s Klout score increased from 55 to 74

Facebook gained 1,653 new fans from the United States

United States representation in Facebook reach/impressions & engagement skyrocketed to #1 & #2 positions, while previously around #6 or lower
